Got my key and opened the Pandora's box.
This synth sounds absolutely incredible.
I am really really liking what I am hearing. The sound is very rich and full. The filter has been very faithfully emulated, and then vastly improved with lots of options.
The modulation options are almost limitless.
The addition of wavetables to the oscillator choices is simply mindblowing. Very complex sounds are quickly achievable. This is one well conceived and executed device.
...and this is from someone who actually owns a real Prophet 5.
I say, if you can afford it, buy it! Now! You will not be disappointed.

Sounds like you're having fun
I'd like to get this & also the Proph@t Plus mainly for the semi-modular versions which are just incredible. In these new synths John Bowen has made timeless & unique Masterpieces !!
Lookin' forward to your sound examples

Should have some short demo type files uploaded into the "Songs" section by later today.
I'm just recording them now.

The Pro-Wave modular is THE craziest synth I've heard on Scope!! OMG this thing is disturbed !!
Add xtra lfos, EGs, SEQUENCERs or whatever for independant modulation of one or more of the available patch bay parameters. Add, change, tweek, personalise. Man this synth & it's brother the Proph@at modular MUST BE
THE most flexible synths on Scope!! All I can say is WOW & get your hands in your pockets for this, as it's well worth it if you actually use your Scope rig !!

Alright Gents,
Let's keep it rolling with demo's and pre's. This came out from hard work and dedication on JB's part, it's up to us how far we take it.
I have recently loved playing playing stw's Morpheus 2 with it's combination of Waldorf Wave Osc. and J9K's modulation matrix. Funny someone commented about making a device out of it instead of a modular. Looks like he has his wish with this little gem.
Personally, I want the modular connection, and also want the Solaris modular kit. With these kind of weapons and 2 SFP DAW's my dreams to rule the synth world here in Las Vegas will soon be realised. I will never again need the Oberheims 4 live work. But the SE1-x's are still a must for their buzzy realism and role as redundant synths in case SFP DAW's ever crash. I'm afraid it will be a cold day in hell b4 that happens.
Thanks 4 A Bright Future, And A Great
Set Of Weapons JB,
Strength And Honor,

For some a device is more appealing.
I like the idea of having both versions. Think of it like modularising an analogue synth or drum machine to connect to your analogue modular. With pro-wave modular what you've got is an alternative modular host in the form of a semi-modular synth. So it's not really a question of modular module or device

It's good to see that the solaris modular seems to be taking more of a modular module approach though as this means that it's modules can be loaded into the Pro-Wave Modular (along with other modular modules....and then you could insert complete modular patches with Micron's modular insert or possibly Solaris modular

think about it...multiple modulars within a modular.
John Bowen and SpaceF have been doing this stuff for ages with RD modules and satelites but we're finally all getting a chance to do it ourselves. It sure looks like exciting times ahead for CW modular.

And we shall reap the benefits my friend. BTW to get the name sharc you must be into DSP's pretty heavy. It was the first name I chose when I joined this forum, my second choice however was not denied, hence scope4live. Visit us more often Mr. Sharc, as I feel you are waiting in the wings 4 something to happen.
