Hi from a newbie !
I finally purchased my Minimax ASB this week and have found it to be everything I expected. I have connected it via USB to a Windows XP machine in the studio and it works great, BUT I have a machine which runs Win2000 service pack4 which I also need to use at home.
When I plug Minimax into the USB port, Windows finds the new hardware but then I get the blue screen of death as the driver is updated. I get an error with usbaudio.sys file and then a full memory dump. I have also tried booting the PC with the Minimax connected and it does exactly the same thing during boot-up.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it ? I have tried to find a newer version of usbaudio.sys but have not been succesful, but I am not sure whether this is the root cause anyway.
Apart from that the Minimax is just great !
