Load modular shell inside insert slots...

For mono inserts, use the left connectors...

Great device - working fine

only little visual bug - modules not snap correctly

Thanks

hi megerov,
the snapping issue is not a bug, because this is a modified modular shell with 1 px of snapping for future modular modules releases.
In this way, it is very similar as working on the scope routing window.
If you prefer to use the classic snapping shell, let me know and i'll send a new device to you.

Thanks

Hey Micron, this is fantastic!!

I'm not 100% sure about the 1px snap though, as it'll make module alignment quite difficult. A 5px snap might be more visible & nicer to use.

Thanks for this.

Yes, this is great!!! Finally having Adern Stereo-LP-8-Butter as insert effect. Very very nice....

Oh please give us such a shell where to load 'normal' Scope modules too...

I remember trying to use some older modules not possible to load as inserts... Is it possible to create just a small shell, which makes them inserts?

This way one could use an existing modular patch as insert too. This would be fantastic, mainly I think there are some stability issues with creating complex modules with old shell... had a scope freeze just 2 minutes ago.

Works great Micron.

Having great fun with a couple of OSCs inserted into a stereo MDrum track. Sounds like pouring water on a TR-505 pcb. This is really handy!!

Just did my first modular-insert with your device:

GuGa - Guitar-Gate! It's a very fast responding gate, better than usual creamware gates for hard guitars with bad pickups (I now use a cheap Telecaster in hard distortion => no noise with guitar-gate)
I build in kind of Attack enhancer and a light Tape saturation (all flexor).

Although I play mostly humbuckers distorted it's a very useful device. I'll post it in the modular-section.

Micron, is it possible to add a module menu system within this shell? It could be along the top as in the normal mod shells or maybe even accessable from a right-click menu system (right click anywhere within the shell for the modules menu)?

Being able to load modules from within without having to drag them in would be very cool !!

i think it is possible and i'm learning how to implement menus inside the module....

this is a project where i'm working on and i'll upload the device when it will be ready

the mrc skin is a part of mod 3 shell and at the moment i just have sdk access to the modular 1 shell, but using the midi remote fader and midi remote controller could be a solution...

it was reserved to display the name of the patch, but it works just if you save the patch from the modular shell "save" button that is hiden, but present on the top border of the shell (try to click on the top area until you'll find it, just for fun..)

Thanks to all for testing my first devices, i'll try to make it as useful and bug free as possible

Nice idea.

I am not near my hardware right now, so does this work in XTC-mode?
