Hi,

erminardi kndly left me a link to two MODS for the Miniscope.

I tried both of them just to see if they worked (which they did) but when I went back later to patch in the Miniscope WE (in) from the Sequencer MIDI source module the connection wouldn't work and I got the hour glass from the computer.

The Miniscope hubbel is slightly different as it only has an min and out where as the WE has both min and mout as well as in and out too.

could you better explain how do you connect it?

the in is for audio thru the we's filter. the midi(min?) is for midi. maybe this is your problem....

I've got the Miniscopes working but I still can't connect sequencer midi source output to the Miniscope in. I'm just wandering whether or not this is a bug or not. Please don't confuse the in (which won't connect) with the min (which will).

This only happens with the Miniscope WE which has a min as well as an in and as described above won't connect from seq midi source output to the in connection on Miniscope WE and all is displayed is the hour glass.

If anyone has an answer etc...please let me know.

Thanks.

I can connect my sequencer source to the WE but I have my controller and sequencer going through a MIDI Merger first.

Try connecting your sequencer output to a MIDI merger and the merger to WE. No need to connect anything else to the merger.

Gary,

This is it and it won't connect (is this a problem?) but the midi will connect.

Paulrmartin suggested I use a MIDI merge (which I'll try) but I'm not sure if it will make a difference.

Thanks.

Well, I just tested my connections in view of your trust in my suggestion and found everything to work. I was even able to filter this ugly song I am working on.

the "in" is for audio, not midi. it's so you can run something else through the filter.

FBin for audio
MIn for MIDI

Why do I feel like we're not looking at the same Miniscope WE?
