Watch out, because it installs some old dll that can screw your system. It happened to me.

yeah, the rewire.dll that's installed with ReBirth is incompatible with Cubase SX as far as i could tell.
Solution: download and install the Reason demo, this will install the correct version of rewire.dll (in the windows folder i think). Now copy this dll and keep it somewhere on a backup disk in case you wanna reinstall ReBirth again (which will overwrite with the old version again).

I think and have read that XP use every dll for every app,it's new mode to manage the dll in to xp system,for me reason and rebirth woks fine whit cubase sx 3
my rewire dll version is:1.5.2.89
product version :2.3.2
is the correct last ddl?
I have rewrite the rewire dll with the reason update bat SX 3 woks very fine with rebirth for me

AFAIK (ie. ...from what i've read on the innernets

) there should only be one rewire.dll present on your machine and this handles all rewire applications. The old version that is installed with Rebirth gave me problems (Cubase wouldn't "see" ReBirth as a rewire app). Btw I'm using Cubase SL 2
