A little while ago Scope crashed and upon loading again I noticed a lot of my defualt settings had been cleared. I got them all back but now I see that the STS5000 wont record samples anymore. I go to the record screen as usual. Hit record yet when I hit stop it never asks if I want to save the recording.
Any ideas?

i had this when i upgraded Mac 3.1c to 4.0, STS just stopped sampling. Never got round to finding the problem as my Mac HD died shortly afterwards and i moved to PC (where it works fine). i assume you've done a complete reinstall of SCOPE from scratch?
Hope you sort it, i know how frustrated i was when i couldn't sample. One workaround i found (in 3.1c, didn't work in 4.0) was to take an existing sample, copy it, rename it, drag it into STS and record a sample and save over the copy. Don't know why but it worked.
