Wavetables are a welcome addition to add w/ modeled synthesis, but WAV. files are customized as you like. Anyone here using them in Solaris?

How about external inputs like B2003/leslie through Solaris into the Multimode oscillators? Is anyone as sick as me, in the quest for new soundscapes?

Hi,
I regularly load wav's into the Solaris, with excellent results. I'm working on a bank of presets which mostly uses wav's - I'll upload it soon. (promises, promises).

A good tool for this is the standalone wav pool which John created back in '02. With this you can have lots of wav's at your disposal for easy drag and drop into your project. The JD800 waveforms I posted at the link below work very well in Solaris. They are in the standalone pool I just mentioned.

Thank You Sir,
I plan to be like many of my colleages on the forum and delve deeply into my investment. Everytime I program the Solaris I can't stop. Now w/ the addition of the WAV.s I've brought back my old ARP2600S, and Oberheims, and let me tell you that the buzzy/drippy analog sound that I love sounds so beautiful through Solaris. I'm going to dedicate my whole DSP pool to it now, for it is rather hungry when you mix MMI & II w/ CEMs, and WAVs, then FX per patch. I will try the JD800 WAV.s next thank you.

PS To get the pool to work correctly, you must load the pool into your project before Solaris.

Brother Man Ben,
I have not been able to get this to work. You say load the pool into the project first?I'm not sure I understand, would I load it into routing window, and then connect it? Be patient w/ me please, I am very green w/ the WAV's feature still.
But the JD800 is going to compliment what I'm using now quite nicely>

Thank You Sir,

Just drop it into your project window somewhere, thats all.
Use the pool surface to load wavs into it and drag and drop the files from the pool into the synth.

I have sucseeded in my endeavors, thank you gentlemen. I was loading them from Giga somehow. I've now loaded all my samples converted to WAV.s' to the sample folder in Scope 4.5. My ARP, and Oberheim WAV.'s are actually full blown patches, so they are quite fat from the get go. The JD800 waveforms are a welcome addition to the pool. As usual this forum is a must have for old synth converts like me. I know of no other forum as helpful, and knowledgable as this one. CWA should thank it's lucky stars.

(ok you maybe could, but i havent tried the RD modules and SpaceF filters. but i know u r gonna love the Flexors

I am definately going to purchase all of the above, I don't want any more synths till I really know Solaris to it's full potential. This is so much fun.Late last night I loaded the Gibson 101 WAV.'s into it, and then used the tube filter w/ wavetable organ and it's the hottest Doors organ I ever played. That is what R.Manzarek used, the 101, not the Farfisa, or Vox Continental. I sampled it for giga 160, but now it is fat, buzzy, and HOT!!
