Hi there,

first of all - sorry for a new Topic for such a small question

Now my question:
I want to route the signal of my first channel strip in the dynamic mixer to the output 1l/1r. Now , how can i route the signal just there , so that it is not going through the mainmimx channel?

I hope u get my problem , it should be easy , right?

Best

is this possible with the dynamic mixer at all?

You may have to use STM 1632 (with green 'send to mix' button)

there is a point in the manual which says :

turn off the "mix" button...
the overview of the manual points to page 8 for that...
Either i am stupid or the guys who wrote that manual are...
There is nothing about such a knob on that page neither on this, nor on any other page of the "dynamic mixer" manual..
Can someone clearify this???

Best

OK. You can't do what you want to do on the dynamic mixer. Use another one, or just route differently.

awwwwww,

shit. because the dynamic mixer is the only one with that much individual outs...
The other mixers work with just a few sum busses. This is really bad. I think this should be possible with the dynamic mixer. Because, when i route the signal into my host application from the mainmix, i have lets say the bass going into my host over the mix output. When i now want to route that bass over an individual out into the host, to eq it there, then i have the signal doubled there. I dont want this channel - here the bass ch strip - in my mix out...
How can there be a mixer with individual outs when one cannot route the signal from one channel ago the mix channel to a seperate out???
Thanks wayne , btw
Can one help me to get my feet on the ground here ?

both the stm1632 and 2448 have direct outs on every channel.

there is a small litle botton in 2448 and 4896 that if you press it, the direct outs will appear. the botton is called "direct outs".
press it
