I was just fooling around with the MasterVerb Pro, when I suddenly realized that the Room-size had a much different effect on the result than I expected.
It change the whole tonal character of the reverbtail, almost like if you were using a completely different reverb-plugin. You don't even have to change the roomsize much in order to get a completely different result.

All though I didn't expect to find this kind of change in soundcharater in this particular parameter, the discovery has made me appreciate what the MasterVerb Pro can do a whole lot more

Have any of you noticed this before?

Thomas

I wasn't much of a fan of DAW generating reverbs, but recently experimented w/ MV Pro. and found that the room algos color the sound, like a bright sounding wooden floor does, which is a nice effect for horns and drums, but I prefer Tape Sim over reverb on my synths. You get some really nice multi-tap tails similar to the Ursa Major hardware reverb, the 16 bit one especially. I did notice that the MV Pro. has a non coloring Hall algo, but still prefer my Lexicon PCMs, and MPXs.
