Idea from clavia g2 manual. When a value is set by a consant value which passes through a control smoother when you change a preset (with a new value for the constant) then you 'll get a smooth trasposition.

Sorry this post offtopic

im using MI+II+III+Flexor and G1MicroModular and G2Engine

My result G2engine

- better price (6dsp + MII+MIII+Flexor)
- more dsp power (pulsar 6dsp)
- all modules polyphonic
- more modulation and automation routing
- midi in out modulation function
- 4 independent slot
- separate dsp mono and poly area
- super bonus patch mutator

My pulsar best result

- Flexor
- SixString
- B2003
- Vectron
- MiniMax
- ProOne
- Lightwave

Final result G2 is better for modular and Pulsar better for synth emulation. I love both

Hi megerov, what do you think about the sound? Clavia's sound is very good. But i think scope is better. One extra thing is the ability to use scope fx in modular. (which are of very high quality).

Compare is only for modular

My subjective think is - G2 better sound, soft and clear

Bad point G2 is:

- not included wavetable oscilator ( in new OS is possible )
- not included sample oscilator ( impossible implementation )

Good point G2 is:

- comb and phase filter, mod delay and string oscilator is ideal for psymod ( better than tube resonator and comb filter in MIII )
- i love granular sound patches
- all update OS with new modules and function is free

sorry my bad English

Well G2 is a wonderfull instrument with very nice sound, but nothing can beat modular in scope environment!
By the way a string oscillator for modular would be great as Clavia 's modular is better for PM for sure.
