is there a way to send more than 8 busses to asio dest?
in fact the asio source gives the ability to raise equal asio source as dest.
what is this for, since our mixers give only up to 4 asio busses to the asio dest?
i need to record in more than 4 tracks simultaneously and i want the tracks to be independed.
for example: 3 rewired applications to 3 different tracks, 1 synth to play and another synth to play loops.
at this example i have 5 different applications that i need them to be recorded at their own channel each.
but i can only record to 4 since the 8 busses give 4 stereo outs simutaneusly.
is there a way to exceed the 4 stereo bus limit?

Yeah, don't use the busses in the mixers! Use direct outs or just wire them straight to the ASIO DEST/SOURCE.

i am a little confused.
asio source- direct- to asio dest means no mixer
i need out of the scopes mixer more than 4 stereo "different" singals for recording different channels simultaneusly. this is needed when nuendo is recording more than 4 channels together. with busses i can route 1,2 3,4 5,6 7,8 as 4 indipended outs, but after, the 5th channel.. is going to record some of the above.
helpppppppplease

use the direct out on each mixer channel.

i am close.

i found that 1632 mixer does what i want very easylly by sending equal d.outs as ins.
but on the big ones STM2448 and STM4896 mixers i cannot do it. i see only MixLR, CtrLR, StdLR, and the 8 busses.????
the only thing i have done is to work with busses.
how the big ones give many outs?
now that i see how esy it is with 1632, i do not understand the meaning of the busses.

hi
asio source- direct (to mixer) - (via mixer direct out) to asio dest means () mixer
eg. ASIO Source1 through mixer ch1 and direct out1.
Route this direct out1 to mixer channel 5 via MasterVerb + + AND to channel 6 via SFP effect 1, 2 ....n, and so on.
Only your dsp's is the limit.
(and you can use 2 or 3 mixers too)
remeber all red (OUT's) connections, can be used to connect multiple green (IN's)
As a side note, Narve, a 4 day storm over here, seems to have worn out

Hi
On the master panel of STM 2448 and 4896,
go to Option (down left on panel) then check the direct out box (also far down left) and voila.

thanks all you guys!!!!!!!!!!!
it was just the small button "direct outs" that on big mixers must be enabled for the d.outs to appear.
"Now, i don't understand what busses are needed for".
arela, i suppose you are not joking about the weather.
well, here in athens..............

ok.... they said that monday or tuesday it is going to snow.

Ouups, snow in Athens, seems like snow everywhere. It was verry windy here, but i think northern Norway got the worst of it.
Roof has blown off etc, but worst was where the storm was combined with verry cold weather. Here it is about 0 to 5 degree minus, and that is ok and normal
Hear they are freezing real bad in Russia, and that is a horrible experince.
