why don't you just buy an Adat card (gsif compatible) and send the sampler's output via lightpipe to your Scope system ?
The influence of the card is close to nothing then, as the 'sound' generated by Giga is digitally transfered.
Should be available for $150

cheers, Tom

As long as there's only 2 devices in the chain, feeding the other machine's ADAT to Scope and selecting 'Slave' and the corresponding input in Sample-rate panel is all it takes.
