Hello Creamware and all Scope dudes. Just a little question: is there gonna be a Scope 4.5 installer for Mac and when is it gonna be. I am in the middle of a CD project and would like to use Vinco and some Timeworks EQs for the mixing af this project in January. If the Mac installer is not round the corner, do anyone know a way to manually install Vinco and Minimax into my existing Scope 4.0 installation, using the files that are uploaded right now. My CPU: Scope professional 15 sharc board on a 400 Mhz G4 running OS 9.2.2, never crashes!! I use a Mac G4 867 Mhz CPU with Pro Tools HD 3 as my main DAW workstation and the Creamware mac on the side.

Best regards from Secret dog

4.0 and 4.5 are the very same.

simply install the OXE file for the device you wish to add.

OXE file for any device is available on the ftp.creamware.com

ftp://ftp.creamware.com/Software/Scope_ ... okeys_OXE/

simply place the OXE for that device into the OXE folder in your Scope/APP/OXE

and close Scope and restart scope and the device will install

create a folder called OXE in Scope/app
I think this is the same as PC

this folder is only used to get the device to install by itself.

try it and see,

I'll try it, but first I have to ensure I can buy it. Experimenting without that knowledge is pointless

Antar has right Sam, Oxe folder in app works perfect on mac.
I had to pick up the Vocodizer oxe file yesterday, as the plug in my installation got lost lately.
Worked like a charm
It's explained clearly also on the CWA webpage that deals with it.

Me too I don't expect problems installing the new plugs, you can leave 4.0 active if you have doubts for now

You probably don't understand me  All I want to know is if they will work in my system. I know how to install oxe files but one doubt is if it will work at all. It'll work, I presume but have to be 100% sure.98 Euros is a bargain but still lots of money.

sam

download any OXE that you already have a key for and try it. IF it installs for that OXE it will install for all OXE.

Hmmm...

It's more complicated than I thought. As an Aries (first do then think) I entered the upgrade shop right after the anouncement appeared here but there was not enough money on my credit card (I got such message in the online shop which unabled me to buy the upgrade then). Some 10 minutes ago I went back to the shop, filled the form and after hitting enter I got a message telling me I've already activated 4.5 software... Of course no new activation keys are in my profile. Me stupido! Of course I e-mailed CW support and now am waiting for their help
