Wow, the wavelength stuff sounds great! The mp3s do anyway; i haven't downloaded the demo versions yet. If they are as good as the sample mp3s, I'm going to buy the whole package.
there are also old sytnhs from wavelength for free on the net, I love all of these.
They are often labeled as "Hummel".

Sadly the old free stuff from Hummel was linked to the old Wavelength site, and now the links are broken.
If anyone has one of these stuff in old backups, please, reshare it:

These was ancient demos that seems to be fully functional in SCOPE 4.0 (but a little instable in my system now. Tell me if U experience same crashes, maybe they works stable only in old Scope OS. Thanks)

I still use the 3.1 software. The Wavelength synths are terrific. The fact that he made his synths free is a real committment to the Scope/Pulsar environment. His versions of stock Pulsar synths have better, smoother filters and should replace the ones you get when you buy a card. I wish he made the EZ synth better. I hopes he's listening.

I think I've read something like that recently, too - yet it should not go unmentioned (for the 'later' Scopers) that most of the devices like Avalon, Gemini, Plasma, Plastic, etc were not intended as free synths originally.

They were released as Shareware for $30 each (or something like that) and didn't require a credit card or huge transfer fees for payment.

But they weren't even worth this small amount to the vast majority of downloaders.
Not that I want to warm up an old story, but THIS is how reality looks on this platform - and obviously it's the rule, not the exception.

Stephen's musical career seems to have made significant progress since then, so hopefully he's busy with other things - though I (as a confessing DX fan) would have loved to hear his version of a 6-Op FM synth (which he once mentioned)...

sorry for the rant, Tom
