If i set to 96khz i make the system hevier but synths sound better. "minimax" as well.

But the final project is going to be a CD.
Is it a matter of audio tests to find the best samplerate, or is there a standard rate i should set to make things best?

if you don't want to hang that CD on your wall, but people to get exited on it, they will care on your mix, not on it's parts
cheers, Tom

It's a pitty tha such a "high end card" wich is not that cheap is unstable on 96khz. Ok i can make music whith 48, 41, even sing and write on papper for better, but these are machines that we buy for a specific reason. And scope is very stable on 41, 48, and thats it. 96khz is full of errors, dsp overload (sometimes if modules are loaded in a specific way i can reach almost full dsp usage, but somtimes...) Maybe it is impossible to find stability there because of pc problems as well. But can i make it a little more stable whithout errors alltime on 96khz? minimax, after the error i press cancel, i choose polyphony, and then after a few tries the samplerate of 96khz can be set. ok. But there are board errors, dsp overload all the time, asking for dsp reload.....
I wish i could fix this.
Thank you

I wish the same, but I can't, so I'm forced to work at 44.1kHz. 96kHz makes so many problems here with the Scope deck... it has to stay fun to handle eh.
Putting my hopes on new DSP's which can handle much more per chip, and this problem will surely be overcome.

Do you believe that new hardware is gonna be just an expansion(firewire 800 hopefully), or a complete change of boards?

Let's keep an eye on the Announcements forum for that
