Hey, have any of you put together a Crumar Spirit modular patch ???
I checked a Spirit out last night & got a look at the manual, but there's no complete block diagram in the Spirit manual, to help with building a patch.
It's quite a complex mono synth, so before i started on a patch myself, i thought i'd ask if any of you have built one??
....and gave it away free

can something like the crumar even be modeled in modular?
The crumar was quite a beast wasn't it?
(only read about it never saw one irl)

I've relased my Crumar-DS2 mod3 patch a year ago.
It's a hybrid mono-poly synth (warning: use all 4 output of the patch in a mixer input!)
It sounds very very close to my original Crumar. The patches included are the original from the manual.

To answer your 2nd question first >>> Yes, as far as analogue monosynths go, the Spirit IS a beast. Not in size, but in capabilities (& not it's ability to sound like a blooming minimoog) Mr Moog designed a much more capable synth in the Spirit than he did in the mini.
To answer your 1st question. 'Modelled', perhaps not. Certainly not easily. 'Roughly represented', definately, but i'm struggling at the moment because i don't have the Spirit docs to hand & it's modulation routings are pretty complex. The filter is also not what you'd call 'normal'
I'll need to borrow the manual.
