JRRShop says that MiniMax ASB is going to be released on June 6 and Profit-5 ASB on August 1. If only I had some money....!

surprisingly so, since they ditched all Creamware stuff from their store some years ago (I bought my Pulsar I there when it was first released though).
At 799 Euro, it's just too bloody expensive though. I mean, the plugin costs what, 200 euro? So the contoller/box is 600 Euro??

Yes, the whole controller/box/DSPs/converters is 600 euros, which is kind of in the same price-range as most of the other synthesizers out there. It's not just a MIDI controller, there are DSPs, memory, and converters in there, so comparing the price of the box with the price of a MIDI controller definitely isn't anywhere near fair. Instead, try plugin 200 euros + controller 100-200 euros + computer 1000+ euros, vs 800 euros for the stand-alone box.

Anyway, it's like US$700 in North America, so it might be cheaper to just get it from here.

Why is it so much cheaper in the U.S.?

Another question I have: will the knobs on the controller output MIDI?
