anyone tested this eq?
seems like a "missing link" for scope ...

Hi Janni,
I am using it.
I have found it useful for tricky EQs like some guitar that was poorly recorded.
8 bands allows some real precise surgery on certain frequencies whilst retaining enough bands for general EQing of the instrument to get it to sit in the mix OK.
A couple of issues though:
The Q on the lowest band does not seem to get saved in presets, and
I had trouble trying to run two 8BEQs in the same project. The first worked, but the 2nd instance just hung and no sound was transmitted though it.
regards,
mausmuso

works for me. Can you send me such a preset and tell me, what's the wrong setting and how it should look like ?

mmh, I have now about 10 8BandEQ loaded without any problem. Is this reproducable on your side and could you send me steps to reproduce or a project, where this has happened ?

Thanks
Wolfgang

Hi Wolf,
I have retried multiple 8BEQs in another project and it is fine.
I will go back and have another go in the original project. It might have been finger trouble, who knows. Sorry for the bad press.
I will email you the preset seperately.
It is no big deal, but the lowest band Q setting was not being saved. The sharpish notch was being reset to a wide Q setting and it was happening repeatedly as I tried to saved it a number of times.

The issue with the graphical eq curve bandwidth setting in band 1/8, parametric mode, is fixed (the bandwidth knob can now be controlled by the curve, it only worked the other way).

cheers
Wolfgang
