I bought another Luna for another machine and want to update to version 4 but the website is acting strangely saying there was an error in emailing the key. Anybody else having problems? The last couple of days I couldn't even log in.

yeah, there have been server problems. it's frustrating but kep trying. they reboot it and then someone crashes it. they'll reboot it again.

if you don't get satisfaction in the next day or so, a calm, detailed email to rb[AT]creamware.de should fix your problem. Ralf is a good guy who can fix things...

The BBC says
Web server attacks 'growing fast'
More than 2,500 web servers every day are being hacked, reveals a report.
How much is this affecting the CW server ??

Well it seems to go down just about every weekend when the office is closed, and comes back soon after the weekend is over. Its either being attacked or their outsourcing really needs to move to a more stable facility. I can't believe that a hosting company would be that bad though and remain in business at all.
Of course they could be hosting locally (haven't checked the ip's to be honest) which would make some sense for the customer database where financial records are kept. Hard to tell really and honestly I can't blame CW for not advertising what ails their servers.

One useful thing:

Whenever you get your all.keys, DO NOT deleate it from your send mail, as you will probably need a "fresh" file so for it to work.

It happens that when downloading the file, it has already happend to several of us, the file stop working, and you can not press the "Next" bottom, as it is not highlited in the SFP software in a given point.

Keep. your file in the net, and use it when you need to.

You guys don't backup [expensive] software you download to CD!?

Crazy.

Btw, that file has /never/ become corrupt here. It happened on a couple of occasions (1.3c>2.04, 2.04>3, 3>4?) that CW changed the keys for the cards though.

Of course I do! The matter is that when I did record this file to a CD - several times by the way - it stoped working... The only key that works for me, it is the one I download directely from the net, I don't know the reason, but this is it.

writeable cds are not always reliable, but the data itself is not the cause of the problem.
