Evolution uc-33 works fine for me
The new version, uc-33e sells for ~$200-300

Whith my main "custom" pre, i controll 8 STM channels
volum - sliders + main volum
pan and aux 1 and 2
+ cubase transport

That is also why i use 8 asio
(Cubase: 8 stereo OUT)in most project,
from Cubase and/or Reason

Behringer also offer som cheapos

why not record the midi first, then smoothen or edit it in sequencer, and then send it back for recording the audio?

So the evolution is not motorized faders?.

It looks a little beter featured than the behringer tho...maybee?

So you expect i could controll not only scope mixer but also logic [PC] transport from same controller at same time??

hi
No motor faders.
Sure there are better controllers, but as long as it does what i wanted too, i'm pleased.

There are a couple of USER PRESET
First i made a cubase remote preset, transport controllers & locator points.
Then i added SFP 8 chan (vol, pan, aux1 & 2) + master vol

Guess this will do with Logic too.

This is perfect for me, because i use Cubase mixer to get the whole project into 8 stereo channels....mostly

Behringer BFC2000 works great here. It has a good Logic Control emulation. No problems what so ever.
