Hi ive been hapily using scope for a yr or so in XTC mode with logic 5.5.1 [luna2/A16 ultra]and recently decided to sell my mixer.
So I sell the mixer quicker than expected, borrow some preamps & headphone amp and create myself a new scope project without XTC and a scope mixer to send stuff to headphone monitor etc.
BUT IT DONT WORK andi have a session today.
Whenever I try to Have scope open with lopgic I get the an error "ASIO: Hardware not available(-1000)"
I used to be able to have them both open no probs???, but never had a use for it as i used xtc.
Also get the expected "XTC not available"
ANY ANSWers????
I tried reinstalling Scope.[4.0]
PLEASE HELP
Thanks
Maak Bow

first, on the live bar go to set/settings/global and turn off xtc mode. second, open to scope project with the correct number of asio channels BEFORE opening logic. s/b fine.
if for some reason(like you change the number of asio channels in scope AFTER opening logic, something better done if logic is closed....)you lose the asio connection in logic, you can go to audio/audio drivers and settings in logic deselect asio and then reselect asio. logic will then prompt you to RELAUNCH. doing so will reset the asio driver.

make sure that you you got Asio Driver in your creamWare project before you load Logic.
when you load logic you will receive an info message that XTC are not available .This is info message and not an error message.
click OK and Logic should load fine.
in logic under option /preferences/audio driver 2 make sure that Asio is checked and ASIO Scope is selected and that clock source is set to Sync to CW DSP hardware.

even if i use the exact same project which simply routs all 16 inputs [luna zlink source]to their "asio 24bit destinations" and the "asio 24bity sorce" to the outputs [luna zlink dest]
but turn off XTC..save as default project.
close scope/
open scope, check it saved.
open logic..NO GO..shouldnt that work..as it is correctly routed in xtc mode.
ps.thanks for quick response

it MUST work.
try reinstalling the DRIVER in the device manager.
try saving your project under another name and then loading it manually...

tried reinstalling the driver [version 1.50.10.0] thats the driver that comes with scope4.0]..
makes no change...and yes exact same project that ive been using with xtc...
Then i disable the xtc in scope.
Save.
even tried saving as default etc.
open scope...open logic...ERROR

you are loading the default project manually? it is set properly before logic is opened? i use logic, still, and with no problem....

manully..dont know whay you mean here...I just save my project as "default" and as "startup" just to be sure.then close and reopen to check.
Of course when using xtc i dont reopen it.
I trued relaunching the driver from within logic but same error.
Maybee logic needs reinstalling ...but i dont have time for that now and its fairly fresh install on nice new stable intel puter

if the problem is logic, it should be fixed by installing right over the old install. your settings and working files should be unaffected.
startup and default are useless to me. i just open the project i want to use(whatever it's name). try that. if it ever worked in xtc, it's gotta work now. i know it's a stupid question, but are the asio modules in the project when you start logic? what is the sync master in scope? is there a samplerate in the samplerate dialog(in scope)?

yes..asio modules present..remember it works in xtc mode
Samplerate settings are "master"...and "44.1"

In the routing window, I should be able to connect up directly "zink source" and "zlink destination" and then hear the inputs of my A16 at the output correct???
And i shouldn't even need to save this right?

If i stay in XTC mode can get the A16 input routing through the scope mixer into logic..and the output of the scope mixer is heard at A16 otputs
...but I dont seem to be able to get the Auxiliaries to rout to the A16 while logic is on. with logic off auxilaries work fine ...out the A16 and into headphone distribution amp..
Does anyone have a .pro that works like this in xtc mode with logic, and monitoring from auxilaries on the scope mixer???
Please help
