"Since Music Fair Frankfurt 2004 we are in contact to a team of linux coders with whom we are planning a translation of SCOPE 4.0 to Linux.
Also finalization of Scope 4 for OSX is shall of this project.
However, we can not name release date now." - CWA Support faq.

Seriously, i can understand CWA not wanting to announce anything due to possible negative press, but surely this is a little misleading. It would be better if they cleared up the uncertanty as to whether these cards will ever run with X on any mac. The latest announcements can be interpreted to mean new scope hardware is probably some ways off. Still it would be disappointing to spend on a PC + core audio ADAT solution if something was to eventuate. I'm sure these sentments have been expressed many times before, but OS9 diehards like myself would probably feel more comfortable donating to the cause if we knew either way
Regards to CWA and all scope fans out there,
Ditty.

Well, this is something...
Anyone knows when this was put on the site?
I guess it's really recent, and I'm glad with it, as it is at least an official statement about OSX

Would be cool though.

I don't think XTC mode would be that hard to implement.

With a LADSPA-wrapper you would be half the way.
