Hello to all!

I have a quite stupid question..

I have 3 hard disks that are ATA133. If I add to the system one that is ATA100 would that degrade the performance of the other disks?

Thank you

No
The bandwidth won't even be re-produced on the ATA 100.

ATA-133 only works with a few IDE controllers anyway. Its a specification introduced by Maxtor and Promise (makers of 3rd party ide RAID chips).

As far as I know, they work independently nevertheless...
