On the cw site all overwiews work except from the sampler page. I think they're coming with a new sampler on the musik messe.

Well, we'll see in a week..

Why not renovate the good old STS? So many PlanetZarians had to criticise them, especially the STS-5000-bugs.
Well, I would be satisfied, if I could draw the windows a little bigger (1280x1024), especially the keygroup window. They are very fiddly ...
And some new features as we see at Halion or Kontakt would be welcome. Disc streaming would be great!

The thing we need least??
It's the only thing I need. I'm not waiting for another softsynth or mixer or whatever. All the tools to make music are here already. The only thing Creamware doesn't have is a decent sampler.

its just a mishap.

oh, and to the guy saying all cw need is a good sampler, as far as i know cw, ni (with reaktor, not kontakt) and EMU is the only ones actually offering samplers for the pc platform.
mind you, and to the best of my knowledge, Kontakt, Gigastudio etc is just sample PLAYERS, not actual samplers.
please correct me if im wrong.

I think Gigastudio 3 can capture sound so it is a sampler.

HI
why not a good EQ hardware emulation made from creamware tech(like tritone digital)
and another compressor emulation like vinco
(urei focusrite isa amek) or channel strip emulation like neve or ssl and of course with a low usage in dsp

sure why not?
errr...well maybe getting your hands on a couple of neves and ssls to model might be kinda pricey, but it would be nice having the plugins.... maybe you could do the model in SDK.... ;D
really, the stock eq is VERY good for general work, but it would be nice to have another high-end eq if we all bought it

...i know that the de-vice's and celmo's eqs are pretty good and worth buying(if only i had lots of money). i really like how the platform has the ability to do just about whatever you want sound-wise, and it's nice to know that plugins CAN be made to rival such iconic brand names.
more than plugins, i'm looking for osx and future pci/firewire compatability. actually, i really like a pci card and i don't really want an external box. i really think that's going backwards. instead of eliminating stuff, firewire adds a new box. it is proliferation......

whatever the solution for future computer compatability, i hope that the platform remains, and backwards compatable...
yep, osx, mackie(or similar) control and a reworked sampler would really make me a happy customer as it would assure a future for the thing that makes my studio work.

Now
here's a new sampler
I hear the hard drive is very reliable, too

These are my CWA priorities at the moment:
1. STS5000 fixed or upgraded in OS9 as it doesn't work properly (keyranges don't work).
2. Modular III fixed in OS9 for the presets problem, menu bar and for the audio pool to work.
This is before any OSX upgrade. By the time the OSX upgrade comes all the above should be working first. Yes some fancy EQs would be nice but i think the core system should be working before any new toys - otherwise i am looking at going into VST-land for my sampling (and i've almost given up on ModIII).

ISON has that qualification, tho not brand specific.
Read the design explanation at the link
(quote from the link:
This constant circuit interaction called 'Q/Gain dependency' results in analog EQs having a different functional and tonal character than digital EQs.
These inherent flaws in analog processing are what actually determine the analog EQ's sound and lead people to label it with words like 'warm', 'smooth' and 'transparent'.
The central meter of the ISON allows you to switch the style of the EQ from digital constant-Q to classic style with Q/Gain dependency just like high end analog EQs).
