Are there any people making mash-up's
combining Pulsar, Cubase and Acid?
I really like these mixes and want to try
it myself.
Any tips, tricks or hints to get it off?
Thanks in advance!

if you're refering to the art of mixing popsongs in an extreme fashion, hardcore style... then i think Cubase is definitely not the way to go. i don't know Acid, but as it seems somewhat of a competitor to ableton live, i'd say yes.

Ableton Live is absolutely fit to do that stuff. take it from me

Beste Borg,

you mean using Ableton live as replacement
sequencer for Cubase? No add-on's like
Soundforge needed?

well, i did in fact stop using cubase in favor of ableton live two years ago. never looked back.
i had a warez version of SF, used it maybe three times when i just installed it. i personally don't use external wave editors. Live lets you cut up loops as well. although apps like SF probably do it with a lot more bells and whissles.
i like the ableton style and what it does to my music. maybe it's not the thing for everyone. if you have SF, it's just one click away, direct from the ableton live GUI.

try the demo...

ha, i knew there was a thread somewhere on the Live forum... announcement for a 'bootleg' night, all ableton live acts, with some links to sets further down.
