There were quite a few posts in the discussion forum from people using Gigastudio 3 wondering if Creamware are going to update to GSIF 2 drivers to enable audio to be routed into Scope as well as using it for outputs from Gigastudio. Some people said that they heard that Creamware were waiting for the release before developing the drivers.
In fact I just e-mailed Creamware to ask them whether they are developing the GSIF 2 drivers and they replied saying that they are NOT developing the drivers and they cannot tell me if or when the drivers will be available. I hope this clears up any confusion anybody still has regarding this.

Well, yeah...they don't have any programmers any more. I just hope they can scrounge up some money.

well, they still do have some developement staff, just not as much as before.
In the context of Giga drivers it absolutely makes sense to NOT focus on it - it is widely accepted that Gigastudio runs best on a dedicated machine. Who invests in several $K sample libs is probably not much concerned to save a few hundred on an audio interface, if this makes the whole setup less reliable.

my 2 cents, Tom

I have to agree with Tom on this one.. besides, the GSIF drivers work perfectly well, I never understood the attraction of GSIF2... just to be able to use their reverb or something? No thanks
