I need to connect a scope proffesional to a pulsar2 so is that just one cable?

Two cables would be nicer.

Well i have heard of people using one cable and it working - but i assume there may be phase issues when loading larger devices - though i'm not sure about that. Anyone?

sometimes fewer cables actually works better. only one is needed, sometimes two is better, sometimes not.

running 3 (15, 6 and 4 dsp's) scope boards with only one cable... no problems, i think.

I was told several times by Paul Tanti (back in tha day) that you should only use 1 S/TDM cable, and that it should be the one closest to the faceplate.

I imagine this is to accomodate a Scope Home card.

Don't understand the confusion here...pages 26 to 30 of the Installation.pdf file (part of the Scope Manual) explains it all in black and white.

Well I still haven't got mine  I've got a scope proffesional sitting in it's box waiting to run mod III with adern 1.5 AND solaris!! I cant wait much longer. I might have to register solaris to the pulsar2!
