is there a recomended lenght for SPDIF cable to avoid digital "problems"?

I don't think so; just had a look and have found spdif cables ranging from 3 feet to 20 feet long! (co-ax stylie) Not sure about optical tho' ?

Of course, avoid Monster Cables like the plague... :grin:

do you think that a long cable ( 5 or 6 meters) can create problems ?

if it's a 75 Ohm cable declared for digital audio that's supposed to work.
They are pretty expensive, compared to 'regular' ones.

I've succesfully used 6m cables (homemade) for SPDIF, without any problems at all. I used RG-59-U normal quality coax cable (75 ohm).
