As far as I can tell, there is no such device for CW platform. Any ideas?

Creamware delay can't be synced externaly without crackling, maybe that's why there's none...

CW needs external temp-sync delay - tape style would be great. Electrix Mo-FX Delay & Line6 Echo Pro & Steinberg Double Delay kinda thing

i take it you haven't seen space f's Echo34 then? Surely the ultimate delay unit. Also, you can set any of the CW delays to your host's tempo manually (unless you do wild tempo changes throughout your songs of course!). Also CW's Pattern Delay is a great little unit too.

yeah, Echo rules ! Not to forget Wolf's recent MatrixDelay, Celmo's 'Vintage' stuff, countless dubdelays and the DIY constructions based on Modular and Flexor.

I'consider the stutter when continuously increasing the tempo only a minor drawback. How often are you doing that - and if, how quickly would it get annoying 'oh no, not again...'

Nevertheless, it's worth considering as an exercise for the SDK newbies. The artifacts are inevitable (currently - I assume due to PCI tranfers), but one could mute them according to tempo change. Who knows, maybe a stutter in the proper rythm context even sounds cool... ?

cheers, Tom
