I used to use an outboard dbx 120 but Celmo's sub-bass surely cuts the cake. Do not under estimate the power of subbass. Subbass will definately change the precieved scale of your entire production. Try them on strings, piano, organs. Not to mention the entire mix! If you've never tried using any sort of subbass enhancer, THIS is the one, NOW is the time to start. Your mixes will enter a new dimension.
Don't forget, the more you pay attention to getting your bass frequencies right, you in turn enhance the precieved ultra highs too.

And in case you're wondering, it's sort of different than just making a "hill" at around 40-60hz.
