Great synth-a very different but high quality sound.great for smooth ambient sounds and keys.A superior synth IMHO-I'm going to have to get one!

It was tough to decide between the bassmanIII and Deep Blue, but Deep won after several weeks comparing demos. I was initially a little put off by the Waldorf oscillators, but the sound is so rich and full that you wouldn't know. The EchoreQ2 delay unit is remarkable and the bass-boost gives what it promises. And being able to aux-in is a great bonus.

At first glance it doesn't seem to have as many knobs and options as other synths, but when you start tweaking you never come up short. Lots of presets too.

I've fallen in love with this synth. It's perfect for pads, keys, bass, ambient, leads and even some effects. Hmmm....what does that leave that this thing doesn't get ? Not much.

A good value machine with lots of character.
