Hello all,
I installed the SDK and when I try to run it, I get the error "error reading file c:/sdk/app/ScopeSDKApp/ScopeSDK.pro". It's Sunday and I'm dying to play with the SDK and I doubt Ralf is going to get my email today. Does anyone know what the problem is?
thanks!
Brent

That's weird, it should be loading "NewProject.pro". It's located in SDK/App/Application. Do you have that?

Thanks for the reply!
Yes, I have NewProject.pro in c:scope sdkappapplication.
I wonder if this is related to the registration? Whenever I start the app, it asks me to register. I don't know the serial number for the SDK so I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the activation key creamware sent me. I just pick 'import' and give it my allkeys file and it says 'import succeeded' then I get the error about not being able to load ScopeSDK.pro.
Is there something I'm missing about the activation? Am I supposed to have a serial number for the SDK?
Thanks again!

There's no serial number! The activation key that is listed on the paper you should enter into the registration dialog box by hand. Click "Save" and you'll be able to use the software.
Have fun!

Hmmm...something's definitely wrong then. When I run the SDK, I get the registration screen that says 'Registration of CreamWare Scope' at the top. I enter the SDK activation key manually and click "save activation key" and it tells me "invalid key for creamware scope!". If I let it import allkeys (which doesn't have the sdk key in it), it says 'import sucessful' then gives me the error about scopesdk.pro.
Bummer. I had set aside all day today to play with the SDK.
thanks

Then I think you're going to have to wait for a reply from Ralf. Maybe tomorrow you'll be able to use it!
In the meantime, I strongly suggest you read the manuals...you won't know how to do anything without them.

Basic Pitch,
Have you contacted support? I sent Ralf my request string per his instructions earlier in this thread, but haven't heard back.
Please post back here if you get yours working!
thanks,
Brent

I have this problem also. If I enter the activation key manually it tells me "invalid key for creamware scope!".
I sent an email to Ralf with my request string and I am waiting for the answer.

I know this is an old topic, but I am having this exact same problem now after a reinstall. I ran Scope and SDK successfully on my last install, so I know I fixed this.
But care to share?
UPDATE:
I ended up copying and modifying (pathnames) of cset.ini from my old SDK installation. I also copied the old Scope.rgy. SDK loads now so I reckon the problem is a bad cset.ini file.
I installed SDK first and then Scope while never launching SDK until later.
