Hi everybody!

I recently bought a NOAH EX! I really love it's sound and capabilities: the old analogs RULE!

I have one problem however: I can't figure out how I can let the NOAH remember my output settings. I like to use the ADAT OUT's: Minimax on ADAT 1/2, Prodissy on ADAT 3/4, and 6Strings on ADAT 5/6. When I synchronize, everything is fine, but when I restart the unit the following day, the NOAH remembered everything EXEPT THE OUTPUT SETTINGS...

Does anybody have any idea how I can solve this? Please?

Thanks in advance!

Roy

exept for preset savings.
Sometimes i can save a setting, sometimes i don't.
(i know there is something in the manual)

Sry, cant help you with the adat con, because it seems sometime it's ok when restarting, and sometimes not.

I'm in the office but I think there is some parameter lock option in the global settings of the noah !

I wrote Creamware my question as well, and this was their answer:
Hello,

please push the system button of the Noah, then choose device.

You can then configure, if the Noah will use the defaults configurations or
the configuarations that you used last time before you powered the Noah
down.

Choose last and now the Noah won´t forget anymore the adat settings.
The 'configurations' he's talking about, is the 'WAKEUP' parameter, which can be set to 'Last' or 'Default'... It can also be set in the software of the NOAH.
Apparently the Output settings are System Parameters that can be altered in the Mixer window... :???:

Anyway, thanks guys for your replies! I hope this helps somebody too!

Presets, it's realy no problem saving presets, banks or files.
It's just a matter of knowing where it will be saved, and remember to syncronize.
For renaming, press F2.

I have very often problems with preset saving !

I allways begin with the F2 renaming feature, then store, then save, then upload = means go for synchronizing. Sometimes it worked so I can't figure out what's going wrong when it does not work !

Please, give me your feeling about my preset procedure - I really liked to resolve this problem

my way of saving isn't in the noah, but in the computer for i use noah in a studio config.
i have a bank for multis, and a bank for each synth of the noah, everything's stored on HD.

First i "Open..." the file where i wanna save.
then i select the place to save, the "Store", then F2 renaming, then "save" => my file is updated on the HD. Never failed.

I think when you go for synchronize you have to watch out the direction (from or to noah)
and the selections in the columns of the synch window (directory, etc.)

If i were you i would backup on HD everytime i wanna save, and upload to noah as few as possible, for this process doesn't look always effective to other noah users.
