The movie is a thriller and tells of few boys that, during a holyday, they loose themselves in a wood. Someone is killed in misterious ways by an unknown person. At the end of the film appears that the killer is the destiny.
This song is thinked to be the ending titles and it is my first complete music i write using my pulsar. I used creamware mixes and effects, modular 1, plasma drumkit (thanks hummel!), sonic attack (thanks Neutron!), wavedrum (thamks wavelenght!) and my korg Z1.
This is my first post in internet of a my music

you're taking some risk by choosing for a 7/8 time scale...
If you think you need to keep it, I would put the bassdrum to the back a bit.
Specially as the song will be played during end titling, the bassdrum part is a bit ruthless then.
Nice tune anyway, good work, up to Cannes now

that's alot of pumping you got going on. It's on the verge of being a bit too strong, but sure, it works to add character.
Something about the hihat that makes me think it's off time.. or actually it seems that the drums are sort of off at certain places, almost as if the clock is fluctuating. Is this an effect? You may want to look into it.

Thanks a lot Hubird,Wayne and Kensuguru for your replies!
Yes, 7/8 is a my conscious choice. I think it give a lot of surprise and can cause the spectators to lose one's bearings. (i don't know if my English is here intellegible...)
On the subject of the bass drum, i've already tryed to pump up his volume, but I've a throuble: in my mix i pass the whole drums to a single compressor, so if I raise the BD, globally the change is minimal. If I mix separately the bd and the other pieces I loose a lot of "power" (it seems a lot flat). I must admit that I'm not very expert in mixing, because I've mixed only few and easy works, so have you any suggestion about how to give more BD's presence?
I read about the compressor's side chain, but I never use it. Could be useful in this situation?

Pretty cool track.
the bd does sound a bit over comped and lacks a bit of bottom boom.
i think maybe the hat(s) panned to the left could be lowered a a bit or some how softened. slow the attack down?
i've never used side chains on comps and havn't really got a clue on when it's usefull to use. apart from the radio station use..
oh and the intro/belly sound. Exorcist...
