CWA took all demos offline a while ago, obviously due to some copy protection issues, though I dunno exactly.
I was able to demo the Prodyssey, so it once had existed...
Let me take the opportunity to vote once more against that time-restriction 1 hour nonsense

if they ever consider some demos again...
Can't really help with the decision, but regarding the Profit I originally didn't want any more CWA synths - sonically there was absolutely no need for me, imho.
I have Solaris and PythonPro, the complete Wavelength palette, Vectron, Modular III plus Flexor, Prisma, Lightwave, B2003 and the CWA stock stuff.
Outboard TX7 and TX802, Casio VZ8 and a flock of cheapos, Protheus/2, DX-200, ADX-1, DR110 and TR505.
Yet I'm extremely pleased with the Profit5 - it has THAT smooth, deep filter sound and is versatile enough for even some strange things.
The FX section is very stylish and minimalistic, it doesn't blur the sound generation, but just puts a little cream on the cake.
Some extra candy could be added with Warp69's chorus delay (CD100) coming with the STW P100 Classic Plate Reverb.
Yields exactly the sound that mags usually describe as 'EXPENSIVE'.
I don't have a real Prophet (not even touched the original).
Since CWA models the version 2 (SSM chips), which is highly regarded for it's sound, but low for stability, there's also a very practical aspect in the emulation.
I know this cannot replace a hands-on experience
cheers, Tom
