Does anyone use the modular as a mix surface? i insert the 8 inputs 8 outputs shell and with the use of several external fx module (in which i assign asio sources etc) i can have all my sources appear inside the modular. it's great to tottally mess with your signals use flexor modules in the fx chains (and anything you can imagine) great for psy trance.

ya, if there was a way to "lock" the modules in place so all you can drag around were knobs and faders, building a mixer in Mod might be a funky idea to explore.

I was thinking of building a mixer with built in overdrive (or amp sim) so all I had to do was to pump the volume up and it would saturate, instead of clip.

By the way, welcome back. Looking forward to hearing about your adventures during your half year musical excursion.

thanx kensuguro... you are right i would be great i we could lock these modules there...

if you make something with the overdrive effect you mention i would like to check it!

the flexor shapers (shred i think) gives a nice boost in low settings.
more often i put a drum+bass+sound through compress-reverb-eq-overdrive-fat sat

ya, same here. love the combo. What's the "fat-sat" you have at the end? Some vst effect?
