This small device is a stereo insert that can load two mono effects.
It should be considered a beta, but it's so simple and I didn't find any bug...but I wait for your impressions..I hope you find it useful as I do...
Copy it in your Effects/Stereo/Others folder.
I didn't test XTC functionality, as I never use XTC mode, although it should be useful in that context too...
If anybody tries it that way with the dll renaming trick and posts his reports I will be glad...otherwise I will do it ....one of these days!
Enjoy...<BR><BR><a name="planetz-fileimage"></a><IMG SRC="

Great idea alfonso. As an small improvement I would add(if I could)

an autopan function (bpm and lfo driven -switchable), so you will have nice movements between the two effects. Special when you just could use different lfo waveforms.

Hi,
I thought about a device like this too but there was no way to make it phase-coherent.
The two algorythms may run on different dsps and therefore, you will get phase-problems.
(My idea was to make a multiband fx insert

I think that in the moment you have 2 different processes going on each channel, the phase coherence is a bit a theoretical issue...otherways it's possible to use the Phasefix device by ReD_MuZe at the end of the insert path...
For the multiband insert, I tried some too, and here the phase issue is heavier, as you can't make a device that forces say...3 Vinco's in a single dsp with the necessary filters, inverters etc...they won't fit...
but...maybe a clever implementation of a sample delay can smoothen results...who knows...still learning here...

i have a problem with this device: with SFP 4.5 i cannot open the plugin surface... which makes this plugin useless...
is this only a problem of my system or of the 4.5 version? i remember when i downloaded it it was working...

On my system it opens, but almost off-screen. Maybe this is what you are experiencing?

Try to change screen resolution.
When you see it, move it and resett screen resolution.

Thanks Alfonso, this is a great plug!!!
Is this a bug, or just in my system?:
The left side does not save the settings of the device in presets...
Would be perfect if this could be fixed.

Strange...I have to check. Now I have all the studio unplugged and packed because Im doing some works (changed floor pavement etc) but I think in 4-5 days I'll be able to check....are you sure?

Who knows if it maybe depends on my system... I will try it on the other computer...
one second please ...
... hold the line...

yes it's the same on the other computer. Had the problems first with two mono grapheqs (tried this, because 4 bands in stereo grapheq s don't save in presets, when unlinking the chanels) For testing it I used a mono delay in each slot (but problem is with every other plugin too). Set some values in each device, save a preset in the dual-slot and you can just reload the right one properly. Left forgets settings of device.

Ok, I'll check it a.s.a.p., (I'm getting crazy here without Scope

Like the others said, add a delay compensation dial and autopan and it'll be an even niftier device!

I re-tested the dual slot and I must say that something strange happens: in sfp 3.1 (haven't yet tested in 4.0 and 4.5) it shows the left insert preset bug as reported by bosone, but in SDK it works perfectly, and I'm not really able to say why...
bosone, do you remember wich software version where you running when it worked?

i'm pretty sure i was already using 4.5, but i will recheck...
