I will keep it short:

I wondered what kind of motorized fader controllers are in use for Scope/Pulsar (for mixer automation purposes) and what your experiences are with them.

Second:

Does anyone have any clue when the Scope software will be available for Mac OS 10?

My ideal scenario would be working with a Mac G5, Logic 6, with the Scope card and a controller with which I can automate mixes in Logic AND Pulsar. I know there is a controller for Logic, but I don't know any for the Pulsar, or if there is a controller that could do both.

thanks

You can't use a Scope in a G5, even if there were OSX software available. The card and the G5 motherboard have different voltages. I'm afriad at this point Scope is PC only.

When CW comes out with a card that has the new voltage and the volunteers finish the OSX software, then it'll be ready.

Talking about motorized faders: Has anyone experiences with the new Behringer Motorfader/Dial Controller? Or with any other total recall system (SAK2k or Huston)

I work at my friend studio with SAC2K to automated Nuendo, work great. For Pulsar it is less great, can't be programmed.

At home i have a fw-1884, that one is great with both, and more.

It has 4 layer of controlers totaly assignable for anything.

A separate mackie or hui mode and a 4x4 midi interface built in.

So i control nuendo + pulsar and it's also a 18x18 digital mixer so i use it like a control room monitor and provide also 8 pristine preamp routed directly to adat into pulsar.

9 100mm 10 bit resolution penny&gilles faders

Top, i love it

complement my pulsar setup with some tactile control very very well

All this for ~approx. the same price of a real mackie/logic control
