CWA has added a new Cutmaster/EasyCut/etc. section to their Web site, but there's no content yet!! I'm sure they'll get it all up before long.
But, uh, where's the SDK?

no, that's just a basic description of the packages, mostly about hardware.
The software pages are still 'under construction' in German, too.

There is an Easycy XP 1.0 on the download section.
I wonder what this program does !!

it's a high quality multitrack audio sequencer/editor. there are new versions coming out, one which will integrate with scope and which should be the tripledat successor.(afaik)

Hmmmm, wonder if it will have OMF / AES support?
(Absolutely necessary for interoperability with other software, IMHO.)

Also will it be able to use XTC plugs?

As an old tripledat user myself. this is an audio editor. this means you can record/edit/burn CD's. something like Vegas audio,
this can not be run in XTC mode or use XTC devices. It may have lots of the effects from the scope environment.

I found out that if you switch to the german site and click on the cutmasterxxl and then clicked on features you will see the specs of the software (OS/devices/format etc..)

I thought Cutmaster was some type of editor aimed at the broadcast industry. I don't think this is a product that you'd use at home unless I am mistaken.
Still, it's great to see they're concentrating some efforts at a new audio editor. Hopefully, there will be a pro-sumer based version out soon.
