Is this like my Simmons Clap Trap on steroids? Like the idea - not sure about the GUI - you either like the hand shape or not i suppose.

One thing i would say is that the 'hand-written'-style font you've used for parameters is (as they always are) a little difficult to read and that a good old sans sarif is always your best bet for legibilty.

Just some positive criticism and well done on a dedicated device (i like things with one function).

Mr A

looks nice, but I can't get any sound of it, tho it does recieve midi.
Q.: why don't you have a midi channel selector on the gui, the life bar can do it but I prefer it on the gui

I know about the font problem, however it looked far better that way. If you absolutely can't read it on your screen, I can raise the contrast a bit.

@hubird
mmh, no sound .. connected directly to one of your phys. outs, too ?
midichannel: I found no accurate place for it on the surface.

HeeHee, thanks wolf, but no, it's more a question of my own aesthetics - i sometimes do graphics for television and i just have an irrational phobia of hand-writing fonts. Here's a quick scenario as to why i loathe them so much:

Client says: We want this hand-written looking font.
i say: It won't be readable on-screen.
Client insists, saying it'll be all right.
A few days later the client comes back complaining all their captions are unreadable and we that we have to remake them free of charge. :rolling eyes:

Anyway if you're happy with it then i'm happy, i'll just have to try not to break out in a cold sweat whenever i use it.

All the best,
Mr A

I didn't try yet, but there shouldn't be a problem. I'm not into xt that much. afaik there was a thread somewhere here, how to get it to work.
Perhaps you can try it for me

Looking at the UI has just triggered old, painful memories of that childhood playground favorite game - 'slaps'

Thx for the device Mr. Wolf - I shall check it out forthwith!

Hi,

a little update/fix is available, please redownload again :

- MidiChannel: omni mode is not the only possibility anymore
- MidiChannel: selector now available on surface (hi hubird  )
- MidiChannel: LED flashes only, if corresponding midi channel is sent
- some more presets

If you're using an old version in a project already, keep a copy of it. Automatically loading the new one, e.g. by replacing the old one in the scope devices folder, can lead to crashes (at least here on Win98se it did).
Sorry for the hassle ..

best
Wolfgang

I've just realized that the interface remembers me a wolf! Like the one made by the shadow-play...

Wolf: ALL my BIG respect if it was wanted!

Anyway many thanks
