From AudioTechnology (an Australian audio industry rag) regarding the new Fairlight Constellation console:-
"...Plug-ins have been integrated by adding Creamware DSP cards to the Constellation mixer. This means that all the plug-ins in Creamware's arsenal can be used. The signal path is very flexible with plug-ins pre or post both EQ and dynamics. New for NAB is the implementation of VST plug-ins. Using the Creamware card for signal interfacing, VST plugs can be patched in the same way...."
Creamware cards are also used in the Fairlight DREAM series consoles.
Also from the same mag, and something I didn't expect to see, is an article "The Future of Multi-Channel Surround Listening?", where a guy set up a PA in a hall and used Cubase and a Creamware setup with - "The unique element is a software patch he's found called Z matrix...". The article then goes on to describe how using Z matrix the guy is able to build the listening environment etc.
A good read.
