As I'm getting 24ch in/out through ADAT soon I will get rid of the mixer. Though I would still want to easily be able to adjust control room volume, headphones volume etc.

For this I thought that a couple of MIDI knobs/faders would be suitable. Maybe around four MIDI knobs/faders would be enough. The main thing that it should be small and not take too much space.

Anybody that has a recommendation for a small MIDI control unit like above?

/Fred

Both are quite nice!

Also found these ones that are small and affordable:

The tascam is a usb audio card first, that happen to control some midi parameters, not that usefull for you i think, but still can work as a standalone micro mixer to have a master hardware volume...

I have a Evolution UC-16 at the studio, and it work pretty well, but it's almost the same price as the behringer, without the moving faders... Haven't you dreamed about a motorized STM1632?

Personnaly, at home i have a Tascam fw-1884 that goes way behond the midi controler...

It a audio card with 18in/18out, asio2,gsif, wdm driver, it's also a 4x4 midi interfaces with hardware patching, and a standalone digital mixer with 8 pretty amazing preamps, + a Logic control/Mackie control/HUI Control + a 4 layer completely programmable midi controler with motorized faders etc + a monitoring section, but it's not in the same price league...

Well... I would really want a Mackie Control but it's too expensive for my budget right now. So I guess I have to stick with a simple MIDI control and move faders with the mouse.

Also got a suggestion about this one:

Not a MIDI controller but would fit my needs for a control room control.
