Hi,

I haven't gone for Scope V4 yet as I wondered.....

When you register for V4 and get your keys, are they different to what you had for 3.1c?

If they are different, do they still work with 3.1c?

With V4 installed and you buy something new like Solaris, for example, and you get a key generated from the request string, would this key be compatibile with 3.1c aswell?

When you reg for V4 and buy a device from the creamware shop, you get a package that is generated and which you install. But wouldn't this package/key be generated on the assumption that you are using V4 once you have registered?

I thought the key is linked into both the Scope software and the serial of you board?

Hoping that you can figure out what I am getting at, can anybody tell me whether I am right or wrong about this?

I ask this because, as much as I would like to register for V4 to keep up to date, I wouldn't like to find myself having problems with V4 and wishing that I could go back to 3.1c. I fear that I wouldn't be able to do this if the creamware site thinks I am using V4 and generates a key for V4 when I purchase a device from their shop.

Sorry for the long winded post.

The keys for v4.0 are the same as 3.1c.

you get the 3.1c keys + 4.0 keys. All in one file.
So assuming your topic question - the keys are compatible plus you get new keys.
