Good devices are available, but where is Pro
tone to buy?

Seems that for a while it's unavailable - possibly due to renegotiation of licenses etc. for the new CWA. Oddly i notice that GraphEQ is missing too. i know it looked like a Klark-Technik EQ but i'm sure there can't be any probs with that - or is it now included as standard in SCOPE 4?

Well, GraphEQ is part of Mix'n'Master, and maybe they weren't selling enough of it by itself, so they just decided to have it only in the bundle as a bonus...I certainly was never interested in it, nor do I use it now with Mix'n'Master.

@CWA heads and crew, I know you're understaffed and uberbusy but damnit !!!!!!!!!!! a few vague words in the new site about why nobody can buy it could do it in the meantime for issues to get solved but ...silence ??

Wine Country is not only the worst name, but their site is a hopeless mess. Has anyone tried to actually buy something from there ? From my best viewing it seems you need to give them your credit card details *before* they tell you the price !

Yeah me - I want the Prophet Plus but couldn't figure out how to buy it or even its price - crazy marketing.

I emailed Wine Country and received a mostly incomprehensible babble - which seemed exactly in keeping with the style of their website.
The only part which made sense was "is not for sale at this time".
How did these jokers ever get the rights to such valuable devices ?

I missed my chance to get the Prophet Standard or Plus...

Wine Country rocks, they are tied up in some legal thing.
Don't hate on them if their site sucks, the audio design is what counts.

I agree, their site was confusing for me. But it was their Pro One that led me to using CW. Plus they were very friendly on the phone so they dont deserve to be called these names.

If they can't license you a copy because of legal reasons, what would you like them to do?
If they don't really know how long the legal process will take, what would you like them to say?

Interloper, all people want is an answer from Wine Country. So far all we have is speculation. After all, the SFP synths are featured on the Wine Country homepage for sale ! They could clarify the situation in a couple of sentences and end the damaging chatter.
Imagine they were shopkeepers: They have a shop with a big ad for products in the window, people are lining up outside to buy, tapping on the window waving at the people inside, showing credit cards and cash....
... but inside the shopkeeper just sits at his desk, shaking his head, and refusing to say anything.
Why ? Perhaps the door is stuck, the products have been damaged, the shopkeeper is sick, the cat ate the stock. All that shopkeeper needs to do is hang a little sign outside the window.
It's a strange way to run a business.

I was managing "a night" at a club for a short time. It was a nightmare - especially because the club owner kept changing the deal. I backed out very fast...

Spirit, what was WC forwarding your own post to you supposed to do???
Did they add any kind words to it?
It's not as if I could see you say anything apart from voice us your point of view or past experience even!! I mean if it was your choice of words that caused affence, how?, ...erm, I could not see anything blatantly rude, i.e. swearing, etc.
I dunno. Maybe they are little sensitive.

Yes, it's odd. I suppose they were just showing that they were reading the thread and didn't like what I posted. It hindsight perhaps it was a little harsh.
So I then wrote a very nice email to them suggesting very mildly that it might generate enormous goodwill to simply let people know what's going on since people were waiting to buy their products.
But nothing. Pity.
