I was hoping to be able to route the output of my POD GuitarPort audio interface directly into SFP with the Other Sound Card Module. But all I get is bad crackling.
I also tried to use the module with my computer's built in audio, but I also get bad crackling.
I tried different sample rates with no luck.
Any ideas on how to get this module to work correctly so you can bring the output of another sound card directly into the SFP environment?

Is it a digital connection?
If so set SFP to Slave in Settings/Samplerate
{or slave the pod if poss)

I am using the actual Sound Card module within the Scope environment to route the signal internally. If I can route it internally using the sound card module, that would really help out my setup.
But sofar it doesn't work at all. I am wondering if others have been able to get this module to work correctly and maybe have some insight on what is going on in my system.

Oh, I see- I must admit I'd forgotten about that, and have never really investigated it.
I use another soundcard in the same computer but just have it rigged up via SpDif....hmm, may be I'll check it out over the weekend.

I think you are always going to get horrific latency with the Other Soundcard modules, as they will travel through the OS.
No idea why you're getting crackles though, I've never wanted to investigate it because of the latency thing.

As an alternative, does anyone know of a program where you can select a differnt soundcards for the ASIO input and output?
That way, I could select the GuitarPort as the ASIO input for the program and route it to the Creamware ASIO source module output of the program.

ADAT is really not the solution I am looking for. I am trying to avoid extra hardware in my setup by being able to route internally.
Maybe it is a feature that just doesn't work and I should just give up?

ADAT or any other hardware connection would be latency free.
If you don't mind a bit of the latency, which you cannot avoid if you route over native, you might want to check out
http://www.plogue.com and get the free beta version of Bidule. Load the GuitarPort ASIO Source and route it to a CW Wave driver in Bidule, and you have GuitarPort audio in SFP/SP. While Bidule is quite a powerfull program, that routing setup is very light on resources.

i had this crackling problem with my DSP2000 C-port...
I solved it in that way:
- SPDIF from the C-Port to the Pulsar
- C-PORT Sync Master
- In routing connected the C-Port via SPDIV in to the mixer
- In the CW options Pulsar to SLAVE
I didn't work the other way without crackles... but which one is master and which one slave won't mind at least for my setup...
