Hello,
to have a balanced feedback, let's say i prefer the Prodissey! I think it's the best for basses & FX. I use it for very punchy basses. And the S/H + modulation features are really cool, so...

I too own both,
Minimax has a great sound, but for what I have been doing lately, alot of 4/4 club kind of stuff I find myself reaching for prodessey 1st, for some reason that thing just comes up with the sounds I need, sequence synths, basses, and grungy analog sounding stabs, aswell as wierd noises
The onlything I have founbd myself using minimax for so far is for leads and bass layers, wierd berlin type sounds, though I think the prodessey can probably handle the berlin stuff better
If you can buy both!
Cheers!

Every one likes different stuff,
Seriously though Minimax is realy good and definetely a must have. Whats funny is I bought Pro One also and I still reach for prodessey all the time hehe.
Just a small tip, the presets are an ok point of reference but when you fall in love with Prodessey is when you start to creat your own things. When I demod it, I was like ehh not bad, then one day I was bored and bought it, and was like ehh im sure ill find a use for this.
Then I decided to use it in a track was trying all the CW synths I had to create a grungy stab sound and nothing I found gave me the right sound, I could get close but just not THE sound. Then I loaded Prodessey and in like 2 minutes of minor tweaks had like a few variations of exactly the sound I needed, from there out I just find it so easy to get that special sound I want.
I thumb through the presets till I find something similar or as close as I need to a sound I want and then I tweak from there untill it shapes into exactly what I want.
Also there is something nice about mixing oddesy type sounds together with smoother sounding synths like a Pro one, layer in some pads and its wonderfull mix of textures.
Cheers!
