Hi there...

If you're new to Creamware, welcome and you are in for a voyage of discovery (I just got a second Pulsar a couple of months ago, so went throgh the same thing...)

Well 'driver' is a bit of an understatement when it comes to a Pulsar card!

What you actually need is SFP from here:

http://www.cwaudio.de/index.php?seite=s ... es&lang=en

(note: SFP 4.0 will be released
any day now', so you might want to wait).

But before you'll be able to make a single sound with your card, you need to register the card here:

http://shop.creamware.de/shop2000/de/sh ... .asp?LG=US

you'll need the serial number of the card to register it, and chances are it will already be registered to the previous owner so you'll need to email Creamware to get them to transfer it to your name. At which point you will be able to download a key file to 'activate' the SFP software....

good luck!

Look in the SFP 3.1c Software downloadable from http://www.cwaudio.de

Go to the homepage and chose "support: download" in the left collumn, then
download SFP 3.1c

( will soon be SFP 4.0  )

If you did not get the SFP-software yet, you should propably start by executing the setup file in the downloaded folder.

If you really only want the driver file:

Do a search for "scope.sys" in the downloaded folder
It should be located as something like: SFP../application/driver/Win2k/scope.sys

Maybe do a search for scope.sys and choose the one for win2k

enjoy!

.. forgot about the keys.

Maybe to ask the guy (from who you bought the card) for the keys. That should be faster.

Right now they will not have alot of time at the support with SFP 4.0 comming up.

without software there is nothing to work for the card.
The DSPs need to get programmed with it starting up SFP
Without the key authorisation the software cannot be loaded.
F.i. if you'd like to use the midi-In plug of the card, you need to start SFP with a project with at least a midi-In module loaded by yourself.
the same for ASIO modules to cooperate with a sequencer, or a mixer to rule audio streams, etc.
Good luck
