A few weeks ago I began to get communication problems with my Pulsar2 board (NOT PCI overflow!). I sucked and blew out the dust in my computer, wiped down the STM connectors with a photo lens cloth, and installed a slot fan to suck hot air out of my computer. I have a Pulsar1 and a Scope in addition to the Pulsar2. It seemed to work fine after that, but last night and this afternoon I began to have problems again. The other two cards seem to be OK. I'm not exactly sure what to do now; there shouldn't a heat problem now that I've installed the fan, and doesn't Scope generate more heat anyway? Do you think my card might be damaged? I only seem to have problems when the room gets warm.

If anyone has any ideas, please let me know, otherwise I'll contact CWA! I hope I don't have to send the card in.

Thanks,

Shayne

Thanks for the tips, but after hours of troubleshooting I removed both the Scope and the Pulsar1 card, so Pulsar2 was alone, and even after not having run for some time, I still got communication errors almost immediately. The card simply has problems.

I'm going to call CWA today; I hope they can help!
