I've never had that happen. Have you tried reinstalling SFP from scratch (backing up devices/presets/projects first)?

... If that dosent help:
Reinstall your OS & SFP
Still problems?:
then its hardware.
But first do as Shayne says, it could be enough.

I've always found that SFP becomes unstable if loading & unloading Modular patches (Mod II in my case). It was like this both pre- & post- Flexor, both in 3.1a & 3.1c.
IMO it's a BUG in modular.

This things may also happen when you install programs without closing the others that are running. When you install something into your computer, you must close all the other running programs to be sure the data is properly installed and no files are overwriten. This may be one of the causes.
Another one could be you are missing a Vxd, Sys, Dll, Dsp, etc., file., that sometimes may be overlooked by some installers.
I don't think you have a hardware problem, I think it is software related by what you describe, and I have heard about this problem before, but it's not very common. I too had this problem with MII but long ago.

That's exactly what I experience. If I let things fully load or unload first and 'calm down' then I have less problems.

ps:
"The presets for this modular patch are only 97.268% compatible - Continue Loading?"
What
is that all about?
