I would like to know if it is possible to multiply a midi clock signal coming from an external device before injecting it my software sequencer.

If I've understood you correctly, I would guess not. MIDI clock runs at 24 ticks per beat, as far as I know, which is dependant on the tempo.

You could perhaps generate a MIDI clock at the desired rate from within the Modular synth and use that?

I was think that you could go MVC->freq out->freq multiplier, but not sure if/how you could then use that multiplied frequency to drive a MIDI clock module (?)

Any modular experts know?
